Boxing/Packaging
Position
Summary:
Boxers and packers are responsible for preparing shipments per the direction of the packaging manager.
They follow company packaging and shipping guidelines per specific customer standards while meeting shipping deadlines.
They pay close attention to detail in order to ensure customers receive full and precise orders.
Responsibilities:
Maintain production quality according to order instructions.
Gather all materials needed to complete tasks.
Correctly stack boxes on pallets.
Keep work area clean and tidy.
Properly package, label, and palletize each box and pallet as necessary according to company guidelines.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
o Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English.
o Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting.
o Ability to read, understand, and use all safety operating procedures and equipment.
o Ability to operate air tools and hand tools; and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
o HS Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
