Position Overview:
As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, both furry and human! You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all customers visiting our salon.
Your responsibilities will include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls and emails, handling payments, verifying the weight of dogs, discussing grooming cuts with clients based on their preferences, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with a friendly and welcoming attitude - Manage calendar and schedule grooming appointments efficiently, considering client preferences and groomer availability - Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing client inquiries and providing information about our services - Verify the weight of dogs and record it in our system to ensure proper service fees are assessed - Process payments accurately - Assess mattings and discuss grooming options & cuts with clients based on their preferences and the needs of their pets to ensure clients satisfaction (training will be provided) - Ensure proper documents are obtained from clients and kept up-to-date - Coordinate with the head groomer to resolve problems and maintain smooth operations - Encourage clients to leave Google reviews to showcase our excellent service - Troubleshoot system problems to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administration preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Knowledge of basic computer skills and software (e.
g.
, scheduling software, Microsoft Office) - Passion for animals and commitment to providing exceptional care
