Job Description:
Work within a growing manufacturing company that is in the power distribution and energy spaceHelp them grow and solidify their supply chain and vendor relationshipsEnsure that products and services are sourced correctly along with costs, quality, quantity, and dates of deliveryWork with and continually source suppliers for materials and servicesEnter, track, and manage supplier network within the company ERP solution and continually measure their performance dataPartner with supply chain manager, engineering to build supplier relationships and maintain them in accordance with their ISO procedures.
Required Skills:

years experience as a buyer or planner for a purchasing department of a manufacturer Experience working within Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance Experience evaluating and negotiating pricing for commodities, services, or materials for manufacturing Experience working within an ERP system, preferably SAP Strong experience working within MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel - advanced formulas Bachelors Degree Bonus / Soft Skills:
ISO experience related to manufacturing Any experience with DOD requirements Strong desire to work autonomously for your own tasks, as well as collaborate with others within the purchasing department.
