Mechanical designer 3D Revit
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter, preferably (but not required) with experience in Commercial HVAC systems design and 3D Revit. The Mechanical Designer serves both external clients as well as our internal design-build salesmen by providing excellent service, efficient designs, meeting project deadlines, designing appropriate systems that meet client needs & stays within the budget, producing mechanical drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Wage is commensurate with previous experience performing the duties listed below, or similar duties.
Duties:
Performing Load calculations for projects that need to be designed
Preparing modeling of different HVAC systems with first cost and life cycle costs for owners to evaluate
Preparing 2D and 3D drawings (depending on Architectural/contractual requirements for each project)
Recommending cost savings ideas for design build, value engineering, and plan & spec projects
Working/Coordinating with in house engineers, mechanical designers, salesmen, installation technicians, and management
Desired Skills and Attributes:
Design/drafting skills & experience
AutoCad and 3D Revit preferred but not required
Commercial HVAC / Plumbing design experience preferred but not required
Heating and Cooling load calculations and analysis preferred but not required
LEED experience a plus
Strong computer skills
Self-motivated
Ability to work independently
Strong communication skills including presentation skills
Team player
Positive attitude
