POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst of Anet Revenue Operations, based in American Fork, Utah, will be responsible executing the monthly billing process for Anet, including related month-end accounting processes.
This position will report to the Manager/Director of Revenue Operations and will work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Controllership teams.
The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for:
Executing monthly billing for Anet customers within agreed-upon timelines.
Managing month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of bank statements and G/L accounts.
Developing expertise on all aspects of the billing process and related accounting processes - systems, controls, procedures, etc.
Understanding of company policy and procedures with respect to accounting for revenue and related activities.
Collaborating with Sales to develop standard solutions for customer billing requests supported by existing system functionality.
Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, improve service levels to internal and external customers, streamline workflows or strengthen internal controls.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all billing processes.
Setting up pricing plans for customers in accordance with contract terms.
Management reporting of Anet revenue and activities
Ad hoc requests from other departments and projects.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree and CPA preferred.
Five to seven years of progressive professional accounting experience. Experience in a medium to large international company or public accounting firm a plus; experience in the payments industry also a plus.
Proficiency in Oracle, Access database and Advanced Excel is strongly preferred.
Experience in applying principles of revenue recognition preferred.
Experience in a multi-currency or multi-geography environment a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels of management.
Experience supervising or managing people is a plus.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, capable of handling multiple tasks, possess good analytical skills, and be extremely flexible.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, take initiative and see projects through to completion.
Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment
Work well with others within the team as well as other employees and customers.
