Position Description
The Credit Risk Analyst will be a part of our growing Merchant Acquiring business segment and will be responsible for underwriting small to mid size companies in accordance with credit policy.
Specific Responsibilities will include
o Support overall business needs by ensuring underwriting group makes quality credit decisions in a timely manner
o Take an ACTIVE role within CyberSource to identify, recommend for approval and lead implementation of process/policy changes to make the group more effective
o Contribute as required to ongoing projects having an impact on Credit
o Apply appropriate underwriting criteria to prospective merchant applications in accordance with published credit policy to ensure financial exposure is appropriately mitigated
o Assist Sales reps and Account Management with customer inquiries requiring explanation of specific credit policies and decisions related to those policies
o Perform underwriting analysis on prospective merchant applications within published SLA's
o Assist Fraud/Risk department on matters such as volume re-projections
o 1- 3 years experience with credit underwriting. Previous experience with Merchant Acquiring or Credit Card processing is a plus.
o Experience with financial analysis including reviewing financial statements.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
