Configuration Specialist
Job Description
The Configuration specialist prepares computer hardware and software components for delivery to customers to meet installation timeline requirements.
Responsibilities
Prepare computer hardware and software to specifications indicated
Facilitate system demonstrations
Ensure that all equipment has undergone quality control check prior to shipment
Ship equipment for timely arrival at customer sites according to scheduled installation
Maintain Dell Warranty Parts Direct Certification
Attend training as necessary to maintain up to date skills essential to job performance
Complete priority tasks as assigned by the Configuration Manager
Understand and fulfill the requirements of the Information Security Management System
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Skills/Competencies
Strong problem solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
2
years computer configuration experience
System administration experience
Capable of learning new technologies to fulfill job requirements
Knowledge of scripting
Command and PowerShell scrips are commonly used
Preferred Qualifications
Configuration of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) software
Basic knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of Novarad software and related hardware requirementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
